saying, “Where is He who was born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”


They put His accusation over His head, which read: this is jesus the king of the jews.


saying, “You who would destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”


Likewise the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked Him, saying,


Likewise the chief priests mocked Him among themselves with the scribes and said, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself!


Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those who were crucified with Him also reviled Him.


saying: “ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”


The people stood by watching. But the rulers with them scoffed, saying, “He saved others. Let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the Chosen One of God.”


saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”


Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”


They took branches of palm trees, and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!”


“If anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.


So again they called the man who was blind and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this Man is a sinner.”


But seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they had nothing to say against it.
