Then all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.


Blessed is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.


The pride of man will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will attain honor.


But whoever will deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father who is in heaven.


Peter said to Him, “Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”


This is correct. They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear.


Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall.


Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but so much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.


And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your sojourning.
