The favor of the king is toward a wise servant, but his wrath falls on him who brings shame.


A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.


“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has made ruler over his household to give them food at the appointed time?


Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.


“His master said to him, ‘Well done, you good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things. I will make you ruler over many things. Enter the joy of your master.’


“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”


Truly, I say to you, he will appoint him over all his possessions.


“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much. And he who is dishonest in the least is dishonest also in much.


If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.


And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also.


“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, that they may see My glory which You have given Me. For You loved Me before the creation of the world.


But he is a Jew who is one inwardly. And circumcision is of the heart, by the Spirit, and not by the letter. His praise is not from men, but from God.


Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the purposes of the hearts. Then everyone will have commendation from God.


For it is not he who commends himself who is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.


So whether present or absent, we labor that we may be accepted by Him.


I am in a difficult position between the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.


For those who have served well in the office of deacon purchase for themselves good standing and great boldness in the faith, which is in Christ Jesus.


If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.


Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.


Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.


He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.


“To him who overcomes will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.


for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and ‘He will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”
