Now please come and let me give you some advice, so that you may save your own life as well as that of your son Solomon.


When the season of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers to receive his fruit.


Last of all, he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’


So they caught him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
