Be instructed, O Jerusalem, lest My soul depart from you; lest I make you desolate, a land not inhabited.


Though they bring up their children, I will bereave them until none are left. Woe to them indeed, when I depart from them!


A wicked and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” So He left them and departed.


When Jesus was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,


When they drew near Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, He sent out two of His disciples


Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple. When He had looked around at everything, as the hour was now late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.


When evening came, He went out of the city.


While He was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at supper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of ointment, a very costly spikenard. She broke the jar and poured the ointment on His head.


Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed Him from Galilee and Judea


As they went, He entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.


When He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,


Then He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.


Now a man was sick, Lazarus from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.


Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, less than two miles away.
