“Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and prostitutes enter the kingdom of God before you.


“For many are called, but few are chosen.”


“Enter at the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who are going through it,


But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”


For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.’ ”


Likewise, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous men who need no repentance.


Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little loves little.”


But the law entered, so that sin might increase, but where sin increased, grace abounded much more,


And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.


What shall we say then? The Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith,


For this reason we thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which effectively works also in you who believe.
