When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.


“God brings him out of Egypt; he has the horns of a wild ox; he will eat up the nations, his enemies, and will break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.


Now all this occurred to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet, saying,


When he rose, he took the young Child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt,


Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet:


But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,


And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
