Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.


At that time Jesus said, “I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to infants.


and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.


He laid His hands on them and departed from there.


Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


But when Jesus saw it, He was very displeased and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.


Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall not enter it.”


Brothers, do not be children in your thinking; rather be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.


but said to me, ‘Behold, you will conceive and bear a son. So now, do not drink wine or strong drink, and do not eat anything unclean, for the boy will be a Nazirite to God from the womb until the day he dies.’ ”
