My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; You have set me in the dust of death.


He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.


After the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the troops of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall come with a flood. And until the end of the war desolations are determined.


“Awake, O sword, against My shepherd and the man of My association,” says the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter. I will turn My hand against the small ones.


From that time on, Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised on the third day.


As they came down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”


and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him, but on the third day He will rise.”

He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.


They departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it.


Rather, sorrow has filled your heart, because I have told you these things.


Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
