By them the birds of the heavens have their habitation; they sing among the branches.


All the fowl of heaven made their nests in its boughs; and under its branches all the beasts of the field gave birth; and under its shadow all great nations lived.


Its leaves were fair, and its fruit much, and in it was food for all. The animals of the field had shadow under it, and the fowl of the heavens lived in its boughs, and all flesh was fed of it.


“For who has despised the day of small things? These seven will rejoice and see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are the eyes of the Lord, which survey to and fro throughout the earth.”


He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God, or with what parable shall we compare it?


Yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all shrubs, and shoots out great branches, so that the birds of the air may nest in its shade.”


Then He said, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what shall I compare it?


In those days Peter stood up among the disciples (the number of people together was about one hundred and twenty), and said,


When they heard this, they glorified the Lord. Then they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who believe, and they are all zealous for the law.


The seventh angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.”
