But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.


But when the shoots had sprung up and produced fruit, the weeds also appeared.


“He said to them, ‘An enemy did this.’ “The servants said to him, ‘Will you then have us go and gather them up?’


“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.


Now I urge you, brothers, to closely watch those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them.


Now if Timothy comes, see that he may remain with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.


As workers together with God, we ask you not to receive the grace of God in vain.


But in all things we commend ourselves as servants of God: in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distress,


You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
