Behold, these shall come from afar; and behold, these from the north and from the west, and these from the land of Syene.


And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same regions and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David. My daughter is severely possessed by a demon.”


His fame went throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all sick people who were taken with various diseases and tormented with pain, those who were possessed with demons, those who had seizures, and those who had paralysis, and He healed them.


For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of Him, and came and fell at His feet.


Jesus said to her, “Let the children first be filled. For it is not fitting to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”


There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, and there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
