Then an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, “If the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this thing happen?” And he said, “You will see it with your eyes, but you will not eat from it.”


Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep to me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’


But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to depart. You give them something to eat.”


“But that same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe.’


Send them away into the surrounding country and villages to buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.”


He said to them, “How many loaves have you? Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”


“A creditor had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.


He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
