Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord God. Repent, and turn away from all your transgressions so that iniquity shall not be your ruin.


When Jesus finished instructing His twelve disciples, He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.


Then He began to reprimand the cities where most of His mighty works were done, because they did not repent:


and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”


Therefore, bear fruit worthy of repentance,


From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”


But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”


saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel.”


“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.’ ”


The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And behold, something greater than Jonah is here.


I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
