Then He told them many things in parables, saying, “A sower went out to sow.


Then Jesus sent the crowds away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”


He said to them, “To you is given the secret of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, everything is said in parables,


Without a parable He did not speak to them. But when they were alone, He expounded on all things to His disciples.


Then He said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”


When He had left the people and entered the house, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.
