And behold, certain scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes.”


who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive greater condemnation.”


For they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”


And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.


They shall be punished with eternal destruction, isolated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,


raging waves of the sea, which are foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom the gloom of darkness has been kept forever.


Just as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the surrounding cities in like manner, gave themselves to immorality and went after different flesh, they serve as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
