Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable to the house of Israel,


When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.


But Jesus perceived their wickedness and said, “Why test Me, you hypocrites?


The Pharisees came to test Him, asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”


When they came to Him, they said, “Teacher, we know that You are true and swayed by no man. For You do not regard the person of men, but truthfully teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?


They brought it, and He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.”


He perceived their craftiness and said to them, “Why do you test Me?


He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved, because He asked him the third time, “Do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Lord, You know everything. You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.


They said this, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear them.


Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”


Neither let us test Christ, as some of them also tempted and were destroyed by serpents.


There is no creature that is not revealed in His sight, for all things are bare and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.


I will put her children to death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the hearts and minds. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
