Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy. For You render to every man according to his work.


You shall seek Me and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart.


Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them.


The crowd rebuked them, that they should be silent. But they cried out even more, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”


As Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”


They brought young children to Him, that He might bless them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.


While He was still speaking, some came from the house of the synagogue ruler and said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”


Those who went in front rebuked him, so that he would keep quiet. But he cried out much more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”


Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.


In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard because of His godly fear.
