Yet they seek Me daily and delight to know My ways, as a nation that has done righteousness and has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching God.


“Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by.


Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, “How have we robbed You?” In tithes and offerings.


The young man said to Him, “All these I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”


Then Jesus, looking upon him, loved him and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. And come, take up the cross and follow Me.”


But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”


I was alive without the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
