In addition to being wise, the Teacher still taught the people knowledge, by weighing, studying, and arranging many proverbs.


They have turned their back to Me and not their face. Though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have neither listened nor received instruction.


At that same moment Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a thief to take Me with swords and clubs? Daily I sat with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me.


Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all sorts of diseases among the people.


They went to Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.


The Pharisees came to test Him, asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”


While Jesus taught in the temple, He said, “How can the scribes say that Christ is the Son of David?


Every day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.”


He went out again by the seaside, and the whole crowd came to Him, and He taught them.


He taught them many things in parables and said to them in His teaching:


When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get this? What is this wisdom that is given Him, that even miracles are done by His hands?


When Jesus came out and saw many people, He was moved with compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.


And He was amazed, because of their unbelief. Then He went to the surrounding villages, teaching.


Then He went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was baptizing at first, and He remained there.


Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go into Judea again.”


Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and I said nothing in secret.
