Then Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one. But go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded as a testimony to them.”


He sternly warned him, and sent him away at once,


When He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.


Then He commanded him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”


The commander dismissed the young man and ordered him, “Tell no one that you have reported these things to me.”


For whatever was previously written was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.


Now all these things happened to them for examples. They are written as an admonition to us, upon whom the end of the ages has come.
