Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!”


They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, “What is this? What new teaching is this? With authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”


So they brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him, immediately the spirit dashed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.


The spirit cried out and convulsed him greatly. But it came out of him, and he was as dead, so that many said, “He is dead.”


But when a stronger man than he attacks and overpowers him, he seizes all the armor in which the man trusted and divides his spoils.


And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out. It convulses him until he foams at the mouth, and bruises him, and scarcely leaves him.


While he was coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and returned him to his father.
