“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.


When they came to Capernaum, those who collected tax money came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the tax ?”


Peter said to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free.


John answered Him, “Teacher, we saw one who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him, because he was not following us.”


Truly I say to you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, will not lose his reward.


“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.


“No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”


Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed!” And no one can say, “Jesus is the Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.


So the men examined some of the food provisions, but they did not ask the Lord about it.
