“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.


“Why does this Man speak such blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”


The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us through Your name.”


Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.


Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch over your souls as those who must give an account. Let them do this with joy and not complaining, for that would not be profitable to you.
