It will not be according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they broke My covenant, although I was a husband to them, says the Lord.


But when the people were put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.


So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.


He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. When He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see anything?”


But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.


When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, John and James, and the father and mother of the girl.


They laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead.


Her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He told them to give her food.


When He had said this, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”


For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.


Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.


(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” ) before God whom he believed, and who raises the dead, and calls those things that do not exist as though they did.
