So he went in, and shut the door on the two of them, and prayed to the Lord.


He shall not cry out, nor lift up his voice, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.


He took Peter and James and John with Him and began to be greatly distressed and very troubled.


Simon, whom He named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip and Bartholomew,


But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be made well.”


All wept and mourned for her. But He said, “Do not weep. She is not dead but sleeping.”


About eight days after these sayings, He took Peter and John and James and went up onto a mountain to pray.


Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
