He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.


For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.


He said, “If you diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not afflict you with any of the diseases with which I have afflicted the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”


They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, “What is this? What new teaching is this? With authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”


They were all amazed and said among themselves, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”


He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I will. Be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.


So Jesus went with them. When He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy to have You come under my roof.


For I myself am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”


See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god besides Me; I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; there is no one who can deliver out of My hand.


“The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.
