With my soul I have desired You in the night; my spirit within me seeks You diligently; for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.


Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house. And his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he knelt on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously.


Now seeing the crowds, He went up on a mountain. And when He sat down, His disciples came to Him.


But you, when you pray, enter your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.


In the morning, rising up a great while before sunrise, He went out and departed to a solitary place. And there He prayed.


He went up into the mountain and called to Him those whom He desired, and they came to Him.


When He had sent them away, He departed to a mountain to pray.


But He withdrew to the wilderness and prayed.


But they were filled with madness and discussed with each other what they might do to Jesus.


He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great crowd of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,


As He was alone praying, His disciples were with Him. And He asked them, “Who do the people say that I am?”


About eight days after these sayings, He took Peter and John and James and went up onto a mountain to pray.


As He prayed, the appearance of His countenance was altered, and His clothing was white and glistening.


Then Jesus went up on a mountain, and He sat there with His disciples.


Continue in prayer, and be watchful with thanksgiving,


In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard because of His godly fear.


“I regret that I have set up Saul to be king because he has turned back from following Me, and he has not carried out My words.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried to the Lord all night.
