And the people of Judah took captive another ten thousand alive and brought them to the top of a cliff and threw them from the top of the rock so that they were all dashed to pieces.


The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bows, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay those who walk uprightly.


The Lord said to Moses, “The man will surely die. All the assembly will stone him with stones outside the camp.”


All those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath.


I know that you are Abraham’s seed. But you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.


But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.


Then they took up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple. Going through their midst, He passed by.


Therefore Jesus also, so that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
