The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.


The oxen likewise and the young donkeys that work the ground shall eat cured fodder, which has been winnowed with the shovel and fork.


I will winnow them with a winnowing fork in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children. I will destroy My people, since they did not repent from their ways.


But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, and they do not understand His plan, that He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.


Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up the weeds first and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ”
