If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.


Afterward He appeared to the eleven as they sat at supper, and He reprimanded them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.


“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’


Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have distress. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”


After eight days His disciples were again inside with the doors shut, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace be with you.”
