I can count all my bones; they look and stare at me.


But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered together; assailants gathered against me, and I did not know it; they tore me apart without ceasing;


O people, how long will you turn my glory into shame? How long will you love vanity and seek after lies?    Selah


For they persecute him whom You have struck, and they recount the pain of those whom You have wounded.


saying, “God has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for there is no one to deliver him.”


Behold My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth justice to the nations.


Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to the despised one, to the one whom the nation abhors, to the servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord who is faithful and the Holy One of Israel who has chosen you.”


He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from him; he was despised, and we did not esteem him.


I have become the derision of all my people, their mocking song all the day.


And I will pour out on the house of David and over those dwelling in Jerusalem a spirit of favor and supplication so that they look to Me, whom they have pierced through. And they will mourn over him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly over him as a firstborn.


“Behold, My Servant, whom I have chosen, My Beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased; I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will render judgment to the Gentiles.


And behold, a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”


The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things and derided Him.


Pilate called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,


One of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us!”


Coming to Him as to a living stone who is rejected by men, but chosen by God and precious,
