Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “You have said so.”


and began to salute Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”


Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him, “You have said so.”


Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those who were crucified with Him also reviled Him.


They all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You truly say that I am.”


An inscription was written over Him in letters of Greek and Latin and Hebrew: this is the king of the jews.

Pilate then went out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this Man?”


They said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they hit Him with their hands.
