and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.


Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken, “Before a cock crows, you will deny Me three times.” Then he went out and wept bitterly.


And the cock crowed a second time. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said to him, “Before the cock crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought on this, he wept.


But go your way, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you to Galilee. There you will see Him, as He told you.”


Those on the rock are the ones who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root, for they believe for a while, then in the time of temptation fall away.
