“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants and entrusted his goods to them.


Therefore He said, “A nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom and to return.


At harvest time he sent a servant to the vinedressers so they might give him some fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.


Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”


You must appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the Lord your God gives you, throughout your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.
