Then the presidents and officials sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom, but they could find no occasion or fault, because he was faithful, nor was there any error or fault found in him.


He said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding garments?’ And he was speechless.


When they heard these words, they were amazed, and left Him and went on their way.


When the Pharisees heard that He silenced the Sadducees, they came together.


When Jesus heard it, He was amazed and said to those who followed, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel.


lying in wait for Him and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, that they might accuse Him.


When He said this, all His adversaries were ashamed. And all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.


They watched Him and sent out spies who pretended to be righteous men, that they might seize Him in His words to hand Him over to the power and authority of the governor.


Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced, and all the world may become accountable to God.


For there are many unruly men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
