O my God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not answer; and at night, and have no rest.


Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.


One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.


For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.


Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You.   Selah


Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.


He made the basin of bronze with its base of bronze from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance of the tent of meeting.


They said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees, but Yours eat and drink?”


Then after fasting and praying, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.


When they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they believed.


to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly serve God day and night. Concerning this hope, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews.


Now she who is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusts in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.


He who overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My own new name.


Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.
