As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered, so I will seek out My sheep and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in a cloudy and dark day.


Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house.


Likewise, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous men who need no repentance.


And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost.’


For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”


I have other sheep who are not of this fold. I must also bring them, and they will hear My voice. There will be one flock and one shepherd.


and not for the nation only, but that He might also gather together in unity the children of God who were scattered abroad.


Many who practiced magic brought their books together and burned them before everyone. They calculated their value, which equaled fifty thousand drachmas.
