The crowds said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”


but they did not receive Him, because He was set to go to Jerusalem.


Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went away from there to the country near the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and remained there with His disciples.


Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks during the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.


Then Jesus said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. He who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.


Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.


I must do the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.


how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.


Because those who live in Jerusalem, and their rulers, did not know Him, in condemning Him they have fulfilled the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath.
