Let my accusers be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a mantle.


Honorable and majestic is His work, and His righteousness endures forever.


His enemies will I clothe with shame, but upon himself shall his crown flourish.”


Let them be ashamed and confounded together who seek to snatch away my life; let them be driven backward and dishonored who desire my hurt.


“Who is like You, O  Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?


In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the beauty and the glory for those of Israel who have escaped.


Surely, one shall say, “Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.” Men shall come to him, and all who are incensed at Him shall be ashamed.


Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word: Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, “Let the Lord be glorified that we may see your joy.” Yet they shall be ashamed.


And they could not answer Him regarding these things.


Immediately he received his sight and followed Him, glorifying God. When all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.


Yet they could not find a way to do it, for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.


After that they dared not ask Him any question at all.


When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people. For all glorified God for what was done,


But they shall proceed no further, for their folly will be revealed to everyone, as theirs also was.


and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that the one who opposes you may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.


Have a good conscience so that evildoers who speak evil of you and falsely accuse your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
