He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.


I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found of those who did not seek Me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that did not call on My name.


Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weakling say, “I am a warrior!”


Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all sorts of diseases among the people.


When the evening came, they brought to Him many who were possessed with demons. And He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all who were sick,


And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years and was bent over and could not straighten herself up.


Then He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.


Then should not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan has bound these eighteen years, be loosed from this bondage on the Sabbath?”
