The sons of Amram were Aaron and Moses, but Aaron was set apart to consecrate the most holy things, he and his sons forever, to offer sacrifices before the Lord, to minister to Him, and to bless in His name forever.


But Aaron and his sons were making sacrifices on the altar of the burnt offering and on the altar of incense for all the work of the Most Holy Place and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.


And as he grew strong, his heart grew more proud, leading to his destruction. Then he acted unfaithfully against the Lord his God, for he entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar.


My people, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, and to be ministers and make sacrifices for Him.”
