O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare Your praise.


The Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who made the mute, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?


And in that day you shall say: O  Lord, I will praise You; though You were angry with me, Your anger has turned away, and You comforted me.


Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.


On that day I will cause the horn of the house of Israel to spring forth, and I will open your mouth in their midst. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.


But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, “Thus says the Lord God.” He who hears, let him hear. And he who refuses, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.


Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, before those who escaped came. And He opened my mouth at the time they came to me in the morning. Therefore my mouth was opened and I was speechless no more.


And when the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke, and the crowds were amazed, saying, “This has never been seen in Israel.”


And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things happen, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their season.”
