If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely return it to him.


You shall make linen undergarments for them to cover their naked skin. They shall reach from the waist to the thighs.


Be not a witness against your neighbor without cause, and deceive not with your lips.


lest I be full and deny You, and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor, and steal, and profane the name of my God.


Though they say, “The Lord lives,” surely they swear falsely.


Shall you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,


When they go out into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they ministered and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments. And they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.


He shall remove its entrails with its feathers and throw it to the east side of the altar to the place of the ashes.


He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and he shall have the linen undergarment on his body, and shall be girded with a linen sash, and shall be wearing the linen turban. These are holy garments. Therefore he shall wash his body in water and then put them on.


You shall not swear falsely by My name, and so defile the name of your God: I am the Lord.


I will send it out, says the Lord of Hosts, and it will enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by My name. It will remain in his house and consume it, with its timber and stones.”


Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against the perjurers, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who turn aside the stranger, and do not fear Me, says the Lord of Hosts.
