Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said: “Stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever! Let them bless Your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.


Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.


And blessed be His glorious name forever; and may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.


In the sight of their fathers He performed marvelous wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.


that they may know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.


The peoples have heard and are afraid; sorrow has taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.

I will set a sign among them, and send from them survivors to the nations: to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud —who draw the bow—to Tubal, and Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame or seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the nations.


Now if You kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of You will speak, saying,


Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, “Thus says your brother Israel: You know all the hardship that has found us,


For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed. And many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

Three days after they had made a covenant with them, they heard that they were neighbors to them and lived among them.


So the Israelites set out and came to their cities on the third day. Their cities were Gibeon, Kephirah, Beeroth, and Kiriath-jearim.


They answered Joshua, “It was told to your slaves that the Lord your God commanded Moses His servant to give you all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land before you. So we were very afraid for our lives, and we did this thing.
