which King David dedicated to the Lord along with the silver and gold that he dedicated from all of the nations that he had subdued,


He took away all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, even all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.


All the work that King Solomon made for the house of the Lord was completed. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the cups—and he put them among the treasures of the house of the Lord.


He brought out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the implements of gold in the temple of the Lord, which Solomon king of Israel had made, just as the Lord had spoken.


King David also dedicated these to the Lord, together with the silver and gold which he had carried away from all the surrounding nations, from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amalek.


And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated offerings.


This Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all the treasures of the dedicated offerings, which David the king, the heads of the fathers, the officers of the thousands and the hundreds, and the commanders of the army had dedicated.


Some of the spoils won in battles they dedicated for the maintenance of the house of the Lord.

He brought into the house of God the sacred gifts of his father and his own sacred gifts—silver, gold, and utensils.


They reliably brought in the contributions, tenth portions, and consecrated items. The leader over them was Konaniah the Levite, and Shimei his brother was second to him.
