A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


The plans of the heart belong to man, but the reply of the tongue is from the Lord.


He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him.


He who gives an answer that is right gives a kiss on the lips.


But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, although you are small among the tribes of Judah, from you will come forth for Me one who will be ruler over Israel. His origins are from of old, from ancient times.


Peter began explaining it to them in order, saying,
