Now Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard in Jezreel right by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.


He said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her and she stood before him.


One day Elisha passed through Shunem, and a noble woman was there who urged him to eat a meal. So whenever he passed through, he stopped there to eat a meal.


King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel because he was ill.
