All these were joined together in the Valley of Siddim (that is, the Dead Sea).


The Lord shall utterly destroy the gulf of the Egyptian sea, and with His mighty wind He shall shake His hand over the Euphrates River, and shall strike it into seven streams, and make men walk over in sandals.


The east side, from Hauran and from Damascus and from Gilead and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan. You shall measure from the northern border to the eastern sea. And this is the east side.


Then he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.


Then your south side will be from the Wilderness of Zin along by the border of Edom, and your south border will be the end of the Dead Sea to the east.


The allotment for the tribe of Judah, by their clans, stretches southward to the border of Edom, to the Zin wilderness in the south.
