And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to stretch ten steps, so let it go back ten steps.”


A copy of the edict being issued as law in each and every province was proclaimed to all people, so that the Jews could be ready for this day to avenge themselves on their enemies.


He who commands the sun, and it does not rise; he seals off the stars.
